Services & projects

What types of projects do you create?

Our production covers the full spectrum of stone furnishings: from monumental kitchens to sculptural bathrooms, from flooring and cladding to shower trays and basins carved from solid blocks. We create dining tables, decorative ceilings, marble doors, freestanding bathtubs and refined objects.

Every room in your home can become a manifesto of artisanal excellence. Whether it's a single furnishing element or a complete turnkey project, we treat every commission with the same obsessive dedication to detail.

Do you work internationally?

Absolutely yes. We operate internationally and have realised projects in Europe, the Middle East, the United States and Asia. We personally coordinate logistics, specialised transport and installation anywhere in the world, guaranteeing the same standard of excellence we apply domestically.

Distance has never been an obstacle for those seeking uniqueness: we handle every bureaucratic, customs and technical aspect so that your work arrives intact and is installed to perfection.

Do you offer design consultancy?

Yes, consultancy is an integral part of our working method. We collaborate with architects, interior designers and private clients from the embryonic phase of a project. We guide you in selecting the most suitable material, defining the technical construction details and optimising the aesthetic of every element.

Our owner, with four generations of experience, is personally involved in evaluating every project, ensuring that the client's vision translates into a technically impeccable and visually extraordinary work.

Can I visit the showroom?

Certainly. Our showroom in Carrara is open by appointment. We prefer to dedicate an exclusive and personalised experience to each client, during which you can touch the materials, see samples of the most complex workmanship and discuss your project in a private setting.

On request, we also organise guided visits to the quarries where our materials originate, allowing you to see with your own eyes where the stone that will become part of your home is born.

Do you collaborate with architects and designers?

Yes, collaboration with industry professionals is fundamental for us. We regularly work with architecture studios and interior designers, offering technical support, dedicated samples and customised solutions that respect the designer's creative vision.

We understand the needs of those working on commission and guarantee absolute confidentiality, adherence to agreed timelines and constructive dialogue at every phase of the project.

Do you handle small projects or only large commissions?

We handle projects of every scale. Whether it's a single sculptural basin or an entire marble-clad villa, every commission receives the same artisanal attention and the same quality rigour.

We believe that excellence has no dimensions: even a small object can be a masterpiece if crafted with the right dedication.

Timelines & budget

How long does a project take?

Production timelines depend on the complexity and scale of the project. On average, for standard works such as kitchen countertops or bathroom cladding, we're talking about approximately 2 weeks from order confirmation to delivery.

More complex projects — such as complete kitchens with monolithic islands, bathrooms with bespoke elements or sculptural furniture — can require 4 to 8 weeks. For commissioned artworks or architectural installations of particular complexity, we evaluate case by case, but quality can never be sacrificed for speed.

How does the quote process work?

The process is simple and transparent. After receiving your project via the website form or by email, our team evaluates it carefully. If the project falls within our competencies and the request is compatible with our quality standards, we proceed to draw up a detailed quote.

The quote includes high-resolution photographs of selected materials, technical specifications, delivery timelines and, if required, installation with our specialised operators. Every item is clear and justified: you will never find hidden costs or final surprises.

Do you accept instalment payments?

Yes, we understand that investing in a quality stone work represents a significant financial commitment. That's why we offer the possibility of splitting the payment into instalments, according to terms agreed case by case based on the scale of the project.

We generally require a deposit on order confirmation, an intermediate payment at the start of work and the balance on delivery. For particularly complex or long-duration projects, we are available to structure personalised payment plans.

Do prices include installation?

Installation can be included on request. Our quotes always clearly indicate whether installation is included in the price or represents an additional service.

When we operate with installation included, we use exclusively specialised Italian operators, trained in the most advanced laying techniques and in handling premium materials. This guarantees that the work arrives at its destination and is installed with the same meticulous care dedicated to its creation.

Materials

What types of marble do you use?

Our catalogue includes approximately 1,900 different varieties of stone materials from around the world: from the classic marbles of Carrara (Bianco Statuario, Calacatta, Arabescato) to the rarest exotic stones such as Brazilian Emerald Onyx, Spanish Nero Marquina, Portuguese Paonazzo, through to granites, quartzites and semi-precious stones.

Every material has a history, a provenance and unique characteristics. Our owner personally selects every slab, evaluating its veins, colours and structural integrity. We are not limited to marble: we work with all natural stone materials that can translate your vision into form.

Can I personally choose the slab at the quarry?

Absolutely yes, and we strongly encourage this practice for more important projects. We organise guided visits to the quarries and depots where we source our materials, allowing you to touch, observe and personally choose the slab that will become part of your home.

This moment is precious: it allows you to see the veins first-hand, understand the uniqueness of the material and make informed decisions. Our owner accompanies you through selection, sharing decades of expertise in recognising the characteristics that make a slab truly exceptional.

Do you work only with marble or other stone materials too?

We work with all natural stone materials: marbles, granites, onyxes, quartzites, travertines, limestones, slates and semi-precious stones. Each material has different physical and aesthetic properties, and the choice depends on the intended use, architectural style and your personal preferences.

Granite, for example, is ideal for high-traffic flooring due to its hardness; backlit onyx creates unique scenic effects; travertine brings warmth to classic environments. We guide you in choosing the most suitable material, balancing aesthetics, functionality and durability.

How do you guarantee the uniqueness of the material?

Uniqueness is guaranteed by the very nature of stone: no two slabs in the world are identical. However, what truly distinguishes our projects is the Made in Carrara mark we place on every work.

Everything is created in our Carrara atelier by Italian master craftsmen, using techniques passed down through four generations. From the selection of the raw block to the final installation, every phase is followed by specialised operators trained according to the Carrara stone tradition. We do not subcontract, we do not offshore: we guarantee 100% Italian production and installation.

Do you offer certified materials?

Yes, we provide the complete technical data sheet for every material used. This documentation includes information on provenance, physical-mechanical characteristics (strength, porosity, specific weight) and, where available, the chemical analysis of the material at extraction.

For particularly rare materials or for clients requiring specific certifications (for example for contract projects or public commissions), we can provide additional documentation attesting to the origin and regulatory conformity of the material.

Maintenance & guarantees

How is marble maintained over time?

The answer depends on the type of project and the stone used, but one truth is universal: marble, if treated correctly, is an eternal material. The works we create today will still be intact in a hundred years, exactly like the floors of medieval cathedrals or the cladding of Renaissance palaces.

For routine maintenance, cleaning with neutral, non-aggressive products is sufficient. Some more porous materials (such as certain travertines or light marbles) benefit from periodic protective treatments that preserve their original appearance. We always provide precise instructions and, if necessary, organise professional maintenance interventions even years later.

Do you offer protective treatments?

Yes, we apply professional protective treatments on request or when the material requires it. These treatments — water-repellent, stain-resistant, consolidating — are chosen based on the type of stone and the intended use (kitchen countertop, floor, bathroom cladding, etc.).

We use exclusively highest-quality products that do not alter the natural appearance of the stone but enhance its resistance to stains, water and daily wear. Treatments can be renewed over time to always maintain maximum protective performance.

What guarantee do you offer on your work?

The guarantee varies based on the type of project, but our best quality certificate is the works still perfectly intact after decades. We create projects destined to last generations, not years.

We offer a guarantee on workmanship defects and material faults according to legal terms, but the reality is that we rarely receive complaints: the meticulous selection of raw materials and artisanal craftsmanship make our works virtually indestructible. Many clients contact us after 20-30 years not with problems, but for new projects.

Do you provide after-sales support?

Absolutely yes. The relationship with the client does not end with the delivery of the project. We remain available for any need: maintenance advice, deep cleaning interventions, restoration of small accidental damage or simply to answer questions.

We consider every client part of the Marmo Elite family. If after years you need an intervention, an addition to the original project or simply advice, we are here. Our reputation is built on lasting relationships, not occasional sales.

What to do in case of stains or scratches?

In case of persistent stains or surface scratches, we intervene with professional tools and specific chemical products to restore the material to its original state. Thanks to our multigenerational experience, we know exactly how to treat every type of stone and every type of damage.

For fresh stains, timely intervention with adequate products is often sufficient. For scratches or dullness, we can perform localised grinding and polishing that eliminates the defect without having to redo the entire surface. We evaluate every situation individually and always propose the most effective and economical solution.

Process & quality

How does marble selection work?

Selection is the most critical moment of the entire process and is performed personally by our owner. With an eye trained through four generations of stone tradition, he examines every slab evaluating its veins, colours, structural integrity and suitability for the specific project.

When possible, we invite the final client to participate in this phase: together we observe the candidate slabs, discuss aesthetic and technical characteristics, and choose the material that best interprets the design vision. This moment of direct dialogue between craftsman, commissioner and raw material is what makes each of our works unique and personal.

Who actually makes the work?

All our projects are made internally by our specialised operators, master craftsmen trained according to the Carrara stone tradition. Some have worked with us for decades, others are young talents who grew up at the school of the more experienced: all share the same obsession for perfection.

We never subcontract workmanship. Every cut, every polish, every assembly takes place in our atelier under the direct supervision of the owner. This total control over the production chain is the only possible guarantee of absolute quality.

Do you use modern technology or only manual work?

We integrate the best of both worlds. We use cutting-edge machinery — CNC machining centres up to 5 axes, ultra-high-precision waterjet cutting systems — to achieve millimetric tolerances and complex geometries impossible to create manually.

However, technology is only a tool: the final phase of every workmanship is always entrusted to our manual finishers, who with gestures passed down through generations eliminate imperfections invisible to machines and confer upon the work that tactile perfection that only the human hand can recognise and create.

Can I follow the production phases of my project?

Absolutely yes, and we encourage it. Many clients find it extremely engaging to see their work come to life, from raw slab to finished piece. We organise visits to our atelier in accordance with workshop safety regulations, providing personal protective equipment where necessary.

Seeing our masters at work, touching the stone in its various processing phases, understanding the technical complexity of every step: all of this makes the client part of the creative process and increases the emotional value of the final work. For international clients who cannot come in person, we provide photographic and video updates of the main phases.
